The Last Man

So with the advent of this news, Cleveland Guardians, my Grandfather becomes “The Last Man” to ever pitch a world series winning game for the Cleveland Indians.  In some respects I have great pride in the fact that his place in baseball and the “Tribe’s” history is forever cemented.  In other respects I wish they didn’t feel the need to change and buckle under that social pressure.  I also wonder if the fans had any say?

Johnathan, I am writing a book on memorable wins by knuckleball pitchers and have included several of your Grandfather’s gems. I was wondering if I could use a photo of his in this book? If you would like, I can email you a sample of what I have written. Thank you.
